France has always been known as a country “love”(ask any French!). In fact “romance”, is nearer the truth. Because the Romance language spoken in south-eastern France, in the old province of Provence.

Provence is an area of France east of the Rhone river below, originally a Roman province, being the first established outside of Italy. Thus the Roman influence on language, called “Romance” language. Provence is famous for it’s many crafts, pottery is one of the most popular and unique in the industry. The items were found in homes in the province, are rare in other houses in different regions of France.

Because of his romantic relationship, many items are in demand – especially pottery. Collectors of genuine Provencal items are in luck, because they can be purchased via the Internet. We have shops that specialize in collectibles of Provence at very competitive prices. Items to give your kitchen that “Look” French, or items to convert your dining room in mainland consumption. I did not take much to give that special look you want. Sometimes, just the odd item of small furniture may increase any room and is sure to be a conversation opener when guests call.
