Do you have a floor that is old and needs a facelift or you desire to touch up, refinishing your floor is easier than you think. With the right ingredients and a willingness to put in some hard work, dirty, dirty wood floor can be more beautiful and elegant.

There are several things that need work before you begin:

Once you have all your materials together, you can start by removing all doors or carpets. If the carpet does not look clean, you have to scrape with a putty knife to remove excess.

Floors do not look perfect, but it must be relatively clean. This includes removing any tack strips along the edge of the floor. This is most easily reached by using a flat screwdriver into his head to draw bricked.

Once you finish cleaning up debris and old equipment from the floor, use a stripper and spread over an area of about three meters. It seems boring, but you would be able to quickly clean the area. Let stand five minutes.

When this process is completed, apply the stain you choose for the floor, let dry, and apply two coats of polyurethane. Please note that it can last one day and half or two days for the polyurethane to dry.
This process can last from one week or more, but if you work quickly, or with a partner for a few days, you can use to complete this project without problems. This also depends on how big that space, if your house, hoping for a long time. If you have a dining room floor, expect a lot cheaper.
